POSITION SUMMARY:

The Learning & Development Manager will work as part of the Retail and Learning & Development departments to increase retail sales by identifying and driving key areas of opportunity and training needs. (S)he will develop Best Practice programs to address these needs and facilitate training for Employees on both our existing and new products in both a classroom setting and in the field. Additionally, the Learning & Development Manager will work to develop a strong 'numbers' focused culture using the managing tools and processes of Managing for Success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement retail store training programs for all levels of field management and associates.
- Conduct training classes on product information, selling techniques, POS, Polices and Procedures, counseling, coaching, skincare, conversion and merchandising.
- Develop training materials including outlines and course material.
- Partner with the senior Field management to create specific programs for all field positions including: Associate, Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, District Manager and Retail Director.
 
SKILLS NEEDED:

- 3-5 years of training program development in a retail environment.
- Experience in both concept store retailing and training at the corporate level.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and leading.
- Skill in creative and attention-getting training (including video).
- Ability to maintain realistic and relevant training sessions applicable to the 'real world' of retailing.
- Enthusiasm for role playing and coaching.
- Experience with multiple delivery approaches.
- Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and execute various projects in a timely fashion.
- Effective team player and partner
- Energetic and passionate about our brand and company.
- Cosmetic/Skincare background a plus.
- Must be PC proficient (Microsoft Office).
